R U L E S

.Read all tournament details carefully.

Some details may seem obvious to older racers of the game but may not to other racers so hopefully i have covered it all, if there is something i have missed or you don't understand mail me i will be only to happy to answer you.

All racers please familiarise yourself with ALL these details and rules. There will be no need to waste time on tournament day asking these questions. If you cannot follow any of these rules then its best you do not race these tournaments and spoil the fun of others.

* First off HAVE FUN... remember this is only a game.

* These tournaments will be based on a Point System. Consistency as well as racing skill will help you here. The more tournaments you race the better you will do. ALL racers to race all rounds no elimination.

If you can only stay for part of the tournament this is ok, just let me know at the start and at the time of your leaving so we are not waiting around for you.

I envisage 4 to a room: 6 points for 1st, 4 points for 2nd, 2 points for 3rd and 1 point for 4th. and 4 rounds per tournament day. However this may depend on the turnout and the track chosen. All you need to do, is finish the race to receive the points.

We will have the fast lap posted on the results page at the end of the tournament. The person holding the fast lap must forward the fast lap to me by tournament end please.

if you leave before the end of the race or cannot finish the track you will receive a DNF and zero points for that round. The racer with the most points at the end of the tournament that day wins that tournament. In the case of a tie a race-off will be held to determine the top 3 on that track for that particular tournament (no points for race-off) EVERY racers' points will carry forward to an end of year pointscore.

You may race any or all of the tournaments throughout the year, the choice is yours. There will be Awards given at the End of Year Pointscore Presentations; the winners may download and display on their own or their teams site. (For those of you that dont know, i was a tournament host on the zone, I also love to race myself when i get time both Mtm2, Evo 1 and Flatout. If you surf around my site you will find some of the Awards that have been given by me for those tournaments, similar will apply to Evo tournaments)

* All details re what tournament is running and the download link will be on the tournament page and this page updated each week. The track can be downloaded from within your game. So BOOKMARK, the URL will stay the same. All tournaments that have run will be resaved as their own name upon tournament completion and will be able to be accessed from these pages anytime in the future.

* COLLISION OFF for these tournaments unless stated otherwise.

* A FAST LAP each tournament will be recognised on the page, providing you have a screen shot to back it up, and it is forwarded to me by completion of the tournament.

* Link to the results page for each tournament will be given to you at the start of each tournament and will be available for access from the monthly tournament page. This will give you updates and assignment details, so keep that page open in the background and refresh page between rounds if you would like. This will serve a couple of purposes: Any racer can see at any given time what points he/she is on for that tournament and what room he/she should be in. It will also be there so you can look back on these tournaments and results in the future.

I will use a co-host most tournaments who will relay assignment rounds to the main chat for your convenienc and who will be available to answer your questions should I be busy..

There will be no need for unnecessary typing by me in the main chat. If you want to make sure a question is heard by me feel free to private message me, if however I do not answer you right away I maybe assigning arounds, so feel free to private message the co-host who will relay your question to me or answer himself if possible.

* I dont care what name i have listed to host the room, IF you are new to racing here, unsure of hosting a room, or just cannot host for any reason it is suggested that you let another host. Just ask another in that room to host for you, i am sure they will be happy to do so.

* When a room is finished ALL racers must stay in rooms until I enter it. I will ask for results, results will then given to me, I will repeat them and get an agree from ALL players in that room, if all agree, those results will be posted and results WILL stand. IF any racer disagrees with the result, you must say so at that time and have a screen shot to back it up please. In the event of a dispute these screen shots will be looked at immediately and a decision made, this decision WILL stand with NO further discussion taking place so as to minimise disruption to the tournament.

* If for any reason when a game starts you cannot drive your truck notify the other racers in your game immediately and ask for a restart. Reboot your machine and get back asap. If you get disconnected from the game before half way, this will show to the other racers who will then come back for a restart, you will have 2 minutes to return or a DNF will be awarded that round. One restart only per racer per round in this circumstance.

* All levels of racers welcome to race the tournaments.

* NO add-on/downloaded/custom trucks for these tournaments. You may use any Class 3 Truck that came with the game for the OFFROAD Tournament Tracks (occasionally we may use Career depending on the track chosen). Download the above Class 3 Trailblazers for the RACE tracks. NO modified parts in any form allowed.

* If shortcuts are left on any track by the maker then all are free to use them at these tournaments. Practice during the week with others and learn them.

* BOTH game patches must be installed to play in these tournaments. Download these from my page here if needed. Download is available in both .rar OR .zip formats.

* Please use the same name for all of these tournaments IF you wish to chase the pointscore. Points cannot be accumulated if you use different names every tournament. If you change teams midyear please advise me so I may update your points for you.

* There is also a MAILING LIST for these Evo 1 tournaments held by me, racers on it will be kept up to date of the latest tournaments running direct by email as soon as they are set, feel free to join that list.

* Gamers that are not part of a tournament are NOT to enter any racing rooms while the tournament is in progress, it is very distracting when someone comes in talking and you are trying to race a tournament round.

This goes for race-off rooms as well, these are important races for those involved. We will all know the results soon enough. The only persons in rooms are the racers directly involved in that round OR Unless you are asked to do so for a specific reason.

Please note that if this happens, the gamer concerned will be warned and ask to leave that particular room and sit in the main chat. IF this warning is not heeded you will be removed from the tournament room immediately.

NOTE: These tournaments are made for the fun and further enjoyment of this game. Vulgar language, rudeness, arguing and disruption to the tournament in any form will not be tolerated. If you cannot play in a game spirit you will be removed from the tournament. No posting of links in the tournament room that are not directly related to these tournaments. If you wish to advertise tournaments from another game in the room, please have the courtesy of asking the permission of the tournament host first.
